Emotional intelligence and its relationship with academic stress in nursing students at a private university, Lima 2021

Abstract

Study that aims to "determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic stress in nursing students at a Private University, Lima - 2021. Material and method: This research has a quantitative, hypothetical - deductive, applicative, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional correlational approach, because data collection will be used to demonstrate the hypothesis based on statistical analysis and the analysis of the qualities or attributes described to determine the results of the behavioral models in a population. Thus, the population will be made up of 48 nursing students from a private university, the survey technique will be used using Likert-type scales, the SISCO Inventory for academic stress, a scale standardized in Peruvian territory by the author Cabellos in 2020, and the Trait Meta-Mood Scale TMMS – 24, translated into Spanish by the author Fernández, which after applying the bioethical principles of research to the participants (autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence), will be intended to pass through the university's ethics committee.

Estudio que tiene como Objetivo “determinar la relación de la inteligencia emocional con el estrés académico en estudiantes de enfermería de una Universidad Privada, Lima – 2021”. Material y método: Esta investigación tiene enfoque cuantitativo, hipotético – deductivo, aplicativo, observacional, descriptivo, correlacional de corte transversal, porque se utilizará la recolección de datos para hacer la demostración de la hipótesis sustentado en el análisis estadístico y el análisis de las cualidades o atributos descritos para determinar los resultados de los modelos de conducta en una población. Así la población estará conformada por 48 estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada, se utilizará la técnica de encuesta por medio de escalas tipo likert, Inventario SISCO para el estrés académico, es una escala estandarizado en territorio peruano por el autor Cabellos en el año 2020, y la escala de Trait Meta-Mood Scale TMMS – 24, traducido al español por el autor Fernández, que luego de aplicar los principios bioéticos de investigación a los participantes (autonomía, beneficencia, no maleficencia), se pretenderá pasar por el comité de ética de la universidad.
