Level of knowledge and management of sterilization methods in the personnel who works in the central sterilization service of Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and management of sterilization methods in the personnel who work in the Central Sterilization service of Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, 2023. Methodology: Quantitative approach, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population to be studied will be the total nursing staff, which are 80, who work in the Central Sterilization Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the data collection instruments that will be used are the survey technique for the level of knowledge variable; and in the case of the variable management of sterilization methods, an observation guide, which are already validated, which result in Cronbach's Alpha of 0.83, which indicates strong reliability for instrument number 01, in instrument number 02 , the reliability was verified through the Cronbach's Alpha index, which yielded a score of 0.88. The data collection will be carried out in 2 months, in the Central Sterilization of the Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, having collected the data through the instrument, they will be entered into a database in the SPSS Version 24.0 program, for the descriptive analysis the tables will be used, the same ones that will be specified and interpreted, Likewise, for the contrasting of the hypothesis, the Spearman Test will be used as a statistical estimate, with a confidence level of 95%, an error of 5%, which will be reflected in the table of contingency of both variables.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y manejo de los métodos de esterilización en el personal que labora en el servicio de Central de Esterilización del Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, 2023. Metodología: Enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La población por estudiar será el total del personal de enfermería que son 80, que laboran en Central de Esterilización del Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, seleccionados de acuerdo con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, los instrumentos de recolección de datos que se usará son la técnica de la encuesta para la variable nivel de conocimiento; y para el caso de la variable manejo de los métodos de esterilización una guía de observación, los cuales ya están validados, los cuales tienen como resultado en Alfa de Cronbach de 0.83 que indica fuerte confiabilidad para el instrumento número 01, en el instrumento número 02, la confiabilidad fue comprobada a través del índice de Alfa de Cronbach, el cual arrojo una puntuación del 0,88. La recolección de datos se realizará en 2 meses, en Central de Esterilización del Hospital II 1 Moyobamba, teniendo recolectado los datos mediante el instrumento, se ingresarán a una base en el programa SPSS Versión 24.0, para el análisis descriptivo se usará las tablas, las mismas que serán especificadas e interpretadas, Asimismo, para la contrastación de la hipótesis, se utilizará como estimación estadística la Prueba de Spearman, con un nivel de confianza del 95%, un error del 5%, el cual será plasmado en la tabla de contingencia de ambas variables.
