Knowledge and care about the insertion of the percutaneous catheter, in the premature infant in the neonatal critical unit, of an EsSalud institution 2023

Abstract

The intensive care unit area is being considered and studied more thoroughly in recent times since with the cutting edge of technology, nursing staff are required to have the training, skills and knowledge to develop certain high-risk procedures. Determine the relationship that exists between the Knowledge and Care of nurses in the Insertion of the Percutaneous Catheter, in the preterm Newborn in neonatology (intensive care unit in neonatology of an EsSalud 2023 hospital. The present research is quantitative, descriptive, correlational. The sample universe consisted of 36 nurses, data collection was carried out with the application of two instruments: a questionnaire on knowledge of peripherally inserted venous catheter (PICC) aimed at nursing staff who work in the neonatal intensive care unit and the procedural guide on the care applied by nursing staff in the PICC installation in the NICU

El área de unidad de cuidados intensivos está siendo considerado y estudiado con mayor minuciosidad en estos últimos tiempos ya que con la vanguardia de la tecnología se exige que el personal de enfermería tenga la capacitación, habilidades y conocimientos para desarrollar ciertos procedimientos de alto riesgo. Determinar la relación que existe entre el Conocimiento y Cuidados de los enfermeros en la Inserción del Catéter Percutáneo, en el prematuro en la unidad critico neonatal, de una institución de EsSalud 2023. La presente investigación de tipo cuantitativa, descriptiva, correlacional. El universo muestral estuvo constituía por 36 enfermeras, la recolección de datos se realizó con la aplicación de dos instrumentos: cuestionario sobre conocimiento de catéter venoso de inserción periférica (PICC) dirigido al personal de enfermería que labora en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales y la guía de procedimientos sobre el cuidado que aplica el personal de Enfermería en la instalación del PICC en la UCIN.
