Knowledge and practice of nurses on endotracheal suction with closed circuit to patients with mechanical ventilation in the adult intensive care unit in a hospital in Lima 2022

Abstract

Introduction: Knowledge is a set of ideas, through what has been learned in their lived experiences, learning occurs. Objectives: To determine the relationship that exists between the knowledge and practices of the nurse on the closed-circuit endotracheal suction technique for patients connected to mechanical ventilation in the adult intensive care unit, in a Hospital in Lima. Methods: The approach is quantitative because information is collected through a questionnaire and its results are presented in tables and graphs. The population is made up of 50 nurses who work in the intensive care unit who work in the Luis Negreros Vega hospital. The population means a set of people or objects that you want to investigate during the study at a given time. The collected data will be analyzed in the SPSS program.

Introducción: El conocimiento es un conjunto de ideas, a través de lo aprendido en sus experiencias vividas se da el aprendizaje. Objetivos: Determinar la relación que existe entre los conocimientos y prácticas de la enfermera sobre la técnica aspiración endotraqueal con circuito cerrado a pacientes conectados con ventilación mecánica en la unidad de cuidados intensivos adultos, en un Hospital de Lima. Métodos: El enfoque es cuantitativo porque se recoge información a través de un cuestionario y sus resultados se presentan en tablas y gráficos. La población está constituida por 50 enfermeras que laboran en la unidad de cuidados intensivos que laboran en hospital Luis Negreros Vega. La población significa un conjunto de personas u objetos que se desea investigar durante el estudio en un tiempo determinado. Los datos recolectados serán analizados en el programa SPSS y la hipótesis se aprobará usando la prueba estadística de coeficiente Spearman.
