Level of knowledge about the prevention of pressure injuries and the practice of the nursing staff of a private clinic Lima Perú 2023

Abstract

The present study has as its Objective: To determine the relationship that exists in the Level of knowledge about the prevention of pressure injuries and the practice of the Nursing staff of a Private Clinic Lima Peru 2023. Material and methods: This study applied a hypothetical method deductive quantitative approach, type of applied research, being its design non-experimental, descriptive correlational. Said population was made up of 80 nursing professionals from the Private Clinic, whose determined sample will be census because the entire population will be used; the technique was used a survey and as said instrument the questionnaire. The instrument that was used is known: ¨Questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge of pressure injuries ¨, said instrument is comprised of three dimensions which are: Generalities for 7 items, prevention for 19 items and treatment for 11 items Whose Final value of the level of knowledge variable is: Yes (1) No (2). While the second instrument to be used is known as ¨ Pressure injury preventive practices ¨ such an instrument is composed of three dimensions Assessment of the skin for 6 items, hygiene and comfort for 6 items and healing for 6 items Where the final value it will be Always, Sometimes, Never.

El presente estudio tiene como su Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe en el Nivel de conocimiento sobre la prevención de lesiones por presión y la práctica del personal de Enfermería de una Clínica Privada Lima Perú 2023. Material y métodos: Este estudio aplico un método hipotético deductivo de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo de investigación aplicada, siendo su diseño no experimental, descriptivo correlacional. La dicha población estuvo conformada de 80 profesionales de enfermería de la Clínica Privada, cuya determinada muestra será censal debido a que se utilizará la totalidad de la población; se usó la técnica una encuesta y como dicho instrumento el cuestionario El instrumento que se empleó se le conoce: ¨Cuestionario para medir el nivel de conocimientos de las lesiones por presión ¨, dicho instrumento está comprendido de tres dimensiones las cuales son: Generalidades por 7 ítems, prevención por 19 ítems y tratamiento por 11 ítems Cuyo valor final de la variable nivel de conocimiento es: Si (1) No (2). Mientras que el segundo instrumento que se usará se le conoce como ¨ Practicas preventivas de lesión por presión ¨ tal instrumento está compuesto por tres dimensiones Valoración de la piel por 6 ítems, higiene y confort por 6 ítems y curación por 6 ítems Donde el valor final será Siempre, A veces, Nunca
