Knowledge and practice of the sterilization process of laparoscopy instruments in the nurses of the sterilization center of the Lambayeque Regional Hospital, 2022

Abstract

Introduction: The UPSS Central Sterilization has the purpose of providing safe supplies to be used on the patient with criteria of efficiency, timeliness and quality. The objective of the work under study is: Determine the relationship between knowledge and practice of the sterilization process of laparoscopy instruments in the nurses of the sterilization center of the Lambayeque Regional Hospital, 2022. Material and methods: Hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach , applied, cross-sectional, with descriptive correlational design. The population will be made up of the nurses from the sterilization center in a sample of 13 professionals. The technique used will be the survey and observation, the questionnaire will be applied through two instruments for knowledge and the checklist for practice, taken from the thesis carried out by the authors Fernández Rodríguez, Rosa and Rosillo Moscol, Alma, whose Validity of the questionnaire was CPRic=0.92962667, the checklist CPRic=095740444 and Crombach's Alpha reliability for the questionnaire was 0.864, for the Crombach's Alpha checklist it was 0.893, both instruments are reliable. The data obtained will be processed in the SPS statistical program, the statistical tests to be used will be Spearman and phi coefficient.

Introducción: La UPSS Central de Esterilización, tiene la finalidad de proveer insumos seguros para ser usados en el paciente con criterios de eficiencia, oportunidad y calidad. El trabajo en estudio tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y la práctica del proceso de esterilización del instrumental de laparoscopía en las enfermeras de central de esterilización del Hospital Regional Lambayeque, 2022. Material y métodos: Hipotético-deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, aplicada, de corte transversal, con diseño correlacional descriptivo. La población estará conformada por las enfermeras de la central de esterilización en una muestra de 13 profesionales. La técnica utilizada será la encuesta y la observación, se aplicará a través de dos instrumentos para el conocimiento el cuestionario y para la práctica la lista de cotejo, tomado de la tesis realizada por las autoras Fernández Rodríguez, Rosa y Rosillo Moscol, Alma, cuya validez del cuestionario fue CPRic=0.92962667, la lista de cotejo CPRic=095740444 y una fiabilidad de Alfa de Crombach para el cuestionario fue de 0,864, para la lista de cotejo de Alfa de Crombach fue de 0,893 ambos instrumentos son confiables. Los datos obtenidos serán procesados en el programa estadístico de SPS, las pruebas estadísticas a utilizar serán de Spearman y coeficiente phi.
