Humanized nursing care and coping of relatives of adult patients hospitalized in the ICU of the Cayetano Heredia Hospital, 2022

Abstract

Objective: “to determine the relationship that exists between humanized nursing care and coping of family members of adult patients hospitalized in the ICU.” Population: will be 32 relatives of patients hospitalized in the ICU of the Cayetano Heredia hospital. Methodological design: the type of research will be applied. The method will be deductive, observational, descriptive and transversal. The design that will be used will be correlational. Instruments: it will be the humanized care perception questionnaire composed of 4 dimensions and 22 dimensions, reliable through Crombach's alpha 0.789. The coping questionnaire called escaps is composed of 5 dimensions and 47 items, reliable using Crombach's alpha 0.950. The data collection technique will be the survey. Data processing and analysis: it will be carried out through the application of the statistical description that will present the results according to levels and the inferential statistics through the application of the chi square test to verify the hypothesis raised in the study.

Objetivo: “determinar la relación que existe entre el cuidado humanizado de enfermería y afrontamiento de los familiares de pacientes adultos hospitalizados en la uci”. Población: será de 32 familiares de pacientes hospitalizados en la uci del hospital Cayetano Heredia. Diseño metodológico: el tipo de investigación será aplicada. El método será deductivo, observacional, descriptivo y trasversal. El diseño que se utilizará será correlacional. Instrumentos: será el cuestionario de percepción del cuidado humanizado compuesto por 4 dimensiones y 22 dimensiones, confiable mediante alpha de crombach 0,789. El cuestionario de afrontamiento denominado escaps compuesto por 5 dimensiones y 47 ítems, confiable mediante alpha de crombach 0,950. La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta. Procesamiento y análisis de datos: se realizará mediante la aplicación de la descripción estadística que presentará según niveles los resultados y la estadística inferencial mediante la aplicación de la prueba chi cuadrado para comprobar la hipótesis planteada en el estudio.
