Level of knowledge and practice of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers who attend the growth and development clinic of the regional hospital of Huacho, 2022.

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the practice of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers who attend the growth and development office of the Huacho Regional Hospital 2022 Material and methods: Carried out at the Huacho Regional Hospital. The total population was worked with, 95 mothers with children under 6 months of age, using a hypothetical-deductive, descriptive, correlational, non-experimental and prospective method. The instrument to measure the level of knowledge was the Avendaño S, Medrano K survey, with a reliability of 0.73; Likewise, an observation guide by Cuenca R, Gonzales M, Pozo R was applied with a reliability of 0.84.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación del nivel de conocimientos con la práctica de la lactancia materna exclusiva en madres que acuden al consultorio de crecimiento y desarrollo del Hospital Regional de Huacho 2022 Material y métodos: Realizado en el Hospital Regional de Huacho. Se trabajo con el total de la población ,95 madres con niños menores de 6 meses, método hipotético-deductivo, descriptiva correlacional no experimental y prospectivo. El instrumento para medir nivel de conocimientos fue la encuesta de Avendaño S, Medrano K, con una confiabilidad 0.73; del mismo modo se aplicó una guía de observación de Cuenca R, Gonzales M, Pozo R con una confiabilidad 0.84.
