Workload and psychological well-being in the nursing staff of the surgical center of the Villa El Salvador Emergency Hospital – 2024

Abstract

Introduction: Nursing staff play a crucial role in healthcare and often face significant challenges in their work environment. Understanding and addressing work overload and the psychological well-being of these professionals can have a positive impact on their health and performance, as well as the quality of care they provide to patients Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between Work overload and well-being psychological in the nursing staff of the surgical center of the Villa El Salvador Emergency Hospital - 2024. Method: A descriptive correlational study will be carried out, with a census sample of 75 nurses, the data collection technique that will be applied will be the survey and how instrument will be used the questionnaire that will be validated by expert judgment. The questionnaire to measure the level of work overload has demonstrated validity and reliability KR-20=0.83; Likewise, the level of valid psychological well-being will be measured with a reliability of KR-20=0.86. For descriptive data analysis, frequency distribution tables will be used, using SPSS software.

Introducción: El personal de enfermería desempeña un papel crucial en la atención médica y a menudo enfrenta desafíos significativos en su entorno laboral. Comprender y abordar la carga laboral y el bienestar psicológico de estos profesionales puede tener un impacto positivo en su salud y desempeño, así como en la calidad de la atención que brindan a los pacientes Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre Carga laboral y el bienestar psicológico en el personal de enfermería del centro quirúrgico del Hospital de Emergencia Villa El Salvador - 2024. Método: Se realizará un estudio descriptivo correlacional, con una muestra censal de 75 enfermeras, la técnica de recolección de datos que se aplicara será la encuesta y como instrumento se utilizara el cuestionario que serán validados por el juicio de expertos. El cuestionario para medir el nivel de sobrecarga laboral ha demostrado validez y una confiabilidad KR-20=0,83; así mismo, se medirá el nivel de bienestar psicológico valido y con una confiabilidad KR-20=0,86. Para el análisis descriptivo de datos se empleará tablas de distribución de frecuencias, utilizando el software SPSS.
