Knowledge of the health and safety management system and occupational risk of the nursing staff of the sterilization centers of Hospitals II De Chanchamayo.

Abstract

The processes carried out in the sterilization center lead to the probability of suffering occupational diseases and accidents, this level of risk requires to be related to the knowledge that the staff has of the Safety and Health Standards at work. Objective: To analyze the relationship of the level of knowledge of the Safety and Health Management System at Work with the occupational risk in the nursing staff in the Medical Device Processing Units of the Level II Hospitals of the province of Chanchamayo. Materials and methods: The methodological design of the research will be descriptive correlational, with a quantitative approach, at an application level, cross-sectional; The study population is made up of 23 healthcare employees of the Medical Device Processing Units, the survey will be the technique to collect information from a first source, using two questionnaires, the first questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge with 29 questions and the second to measure occupational risk with 34 questions; instruments that were validated by specialists in the subject. Ethical principles and informed consent will be essential requirements for the application of surveys.

Los procesos que se realizan en la central de esterilización con lleva a que exista la probabilidad de sufrir enfermedades y Accidentes de trabajo, este nivel de riesgo requiere ser relacionado con los conocimientos que tiene el personal de las Normas de Seguridad y Salud en el trabajo”. Objetivo: Analizar la relación del nivel de conocimiento del Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo con el riesgo laboral en el personal de enfermería en las Unidades de Procesamiento de Dispositivos Médicos de los Hospitales de nivel II de la provincia de Chanchamayo. Materiales y métodos: El diseño metodológico de la investigación será descriptivo correlacional, con enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel aplicativo, de corte transversal ; la población de estudio está conformada por 23 empleados asistenciales de las Unidades de Procesamiento de Dispositivos Médicos , la encuesta será la técnica para recolectar información de primera fuente, utilizando dos cuestionarios, el primer cuestionario para medir nivel de conocimiento con 29 preguntas y, el segundo para medir riesgo laboral con 34 preguntas; instrumentos que fueron validados por especialistas en el tema. Los principios éticos y el consentimiento informado serán requisitos indispensables para la aplicación de las encuestas.
