Self-care capacity and its relationship with the quality of life of the elderly, from the San José Hospital, Chincha, 2022.

Abstract

Objective: To determine how self-care capacity is related to the quality of life of the elderly at the San José Hospital in Chincha in 2022. Materials and methods: A study using the hypothetical-deductive method, a quantitative approach, an observational type of applied correlational scope, and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population will be finite and will consist of 95 older adults who attend the comprehensive medicine consultation at the San José Hospital in Chincha. The entire population will be worked with according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The technique to be used will be a survey, and 2 validated instruments will be applied to collect the information that will respond to the hypotheses raised. Quantitative measurements and statistical analysis will be made to determine the predictions or behavior of the phenomena or problems raised. Throughout the research, research conduct in accordance with ethical principles will be maintained.

Objetivo: Determinar la capacidad de autocuidado se relaciona con la calidad de vida del adulto mayor, del Hospital San José, Chincha 2022. Materiales y métodos: un estudio de método hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada de carácter observacional alcance correlacional, diseño no experimental de corte transversal. la población será finita y estará constituida por 95 adultos mayores que asisten a la consulta de medicina integral del Hospital San José de Chincha. Se trabajará con toda la población de acuerdo a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. la técnica a utilizar será la encuesta y se aplicará 2 instrumentos validados para recolectar la información que dará respuesta a las hipótesis planteadas se harán mediciones cuantitativas y análisis estadísticos para determinar las predicciones o el comportamiento, de los fenómenos o problemas planteados. Durante toda la investigación se mantendrá una conducta de investigación apegada a los principios éticos.
