Humanized care of the nursing professional and the satisfaction of the parents of hospitalized neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit of the National Maternal Perinatal Institute, Lima 2023

Abstract

Introduction: The World Health Organization (WHO) promotes the dissemination of policies that form a holistic approach to the human behavior of all health professionals to protect the rights of patients, taking into account the motto: "I treat humanely and patient. "Emphasizing that humanization is a process of loving communication between people with respect for dignity and mutual support that leads to change and understanding of the nature of life" and the satisfaction of parents or recipients. Objective: To determine the relationship between the humanized care of the nursing professional and the satisfaction of the parents of newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit of the National Maternal Perinatal Institute, Lima -2023. Methods: The present investigation will be carried out with the hypothetical - deductive method, of the applied type, non-experimental design and correlational level of quantitative approach. The census sample will consist of 80 parents whose children are hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the National Maternal Perinatal Institute. The survey will be used to apply two questionnaires on a Likert-type scale for the target population, they are validated and reliable to measure the variables under study. The collected data will be processed in SPSS 25 and the hypotheses will be tested using the statistical test of Spearman's correlation coefficient given the qualitative nature of the variables.

Introducción: La Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) promueve la difusión de políticas que formen un enfoque holístico del comportamiento humano de todos los profesionales de la salud para proteger los derechos de los pacientes, teniendo en cuenta el lema: “Trato a los pacientes con humanidad“. Énfasis en la humanidad La humanización es un proceso de intercambio de amor entre personas con respeto y apoyo mutuo, que conduce al cambio y la comprensión de la naturaleza de la vida y la satisfacción de los padres o beneficiarios. Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación que existe entre el cuidado humanizado del profesional de enfermería y la satisfacción de los padres de neonatos hospitalizados en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales del Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal, Lima -2023. Métodos: La presente investigación se realizará con el método hipotético – deductivo, de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental y de nivel correlacional de enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra censal estará constituida 80 padres de familia cuyos hijos se encuentran hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales en el Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal. Se usará la encuesta para aplicar dos cuestionarios en escala de tipo Likert para la población objetivo, están validados y son confiables para medir las variables en estudio. Los datos recopilados se procesarán en SPSS 25 y la hipótesis se probará para la naturaleza cualitativa de las variables hipotéticas utilizando la prueba estadística del Coeficiente de Correlación de Spearman
