dc.description.abstractObjective: To determine the biosociocultural factors related to the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding in mothers of infants under six months of age who are monitored in a public health center in Lima 2022. Materials and methods: The research has a quantitative approach, with respect to the methodological design is non-experimental, cross-sectional correlational, the method used was hypothetical deductive. The population consisted of 80 mothers of infants under six months, the instrument used for data collection was through a questionnaire consisting of 2 variables. Results: Of the mothers surveyed (n=80), 77.5% (n=62) did not abandon exclusive breastfeeding. There is a significant relationship between the biosociocultural factors with the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.024 < 0.05). Regarding the biological factors dimension, there is a significant relationship with the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.000 < 0.05). Regarding the socioeconomic factors dimension, there is no significant relationship with the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.100 > 0.05) and finally it was found that the cultural factors dimension does not exist related to the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.129 > 0.05). Conclusion: That biological factors are related to the abandonment of breastfeeding, while socioeconomic and cultural factors are not related to the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding.en_US
dc.description.abstractObjetivo: Determinar la relación de los factores biosocioculturales con el abandono de la lactancia materna exclusiva en madres de lactantes menores de seis meses que se controlan en un Centro de Salud Público de Lima 2022. Material y métodos: La investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño metodológico es no experimental, correlacional de corte transversal, el método utilizado fue hipotético deductivo. La muestra fueron 80 madres de lactantes menores de 6 meses, siendo seleccionadas por criterios de inclusión y exclusión de la investigación. Para medir las características biosocioculturales y abandono, se utilizó como instrumento un cuestionario el cual comprende de 32 ítems agrupados en 4 dimensiones. Se realizó una prueba piloto a 16 madres, para evidenciar su confiabilidad y validezes_ES
