The use of tics and class planning in teachers of two public institutions Boyacá-Colombia, 2021

Abstract

The objective of the research was to evaluate the relationship between the use of ICT “Information and Communication Technology” and class planning in teachers from two public schools in Boyacá - Colombia. This study was applied on the hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, basic type, non-experimental and correlational design. The population and sample were made up of 63 elementary and high school teachers. The instrument used was the survey, formulated to the teachers by means of a questionnaire, under a Likert-type scale. Besides, it was validated by five expert judges The first step in this reserach was the tabulation of the results with the Excel tool, the data was downloaded into a matrix, to be processed later using the SPSS version 25 statistical package. The study found that there is a relationship significant in the use of ICT and class planning with a high degree of correlation between the variables (Spearman's Rho: 0.767). As a conclusion of the study, it was verified and confirmed that the use of ICT is directly related to class planning in teachers of “Institución Educativa Empresarial y Agroindustrial los Andes” located in Sogamoso - Boyacá, and “Institución Educativa Técnica de Nazareth” located in Nobsa – Boyacá; both schools are in Colombia.

El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar la relación del uso de las TIC y la planeación de clase en docentes de dos instituciones públicas Boyacá – Colombia. Este estudio se sustentó en el método hipotético deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, diseño correlacional no experimental. La población y muestra la conformaron 63 docentes de básica y secundaria. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta, formulada a los docentes mediante el instrumento cuestionario, bajo una escala tipo Likert; validado por cinco jueces expertos. En esta investigación se trabajó como primer paso, la tabulación de los resultados con la herramienta Excel, se descargaron los datos en una matriz, para ser procesados, luego mediante el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 25. En el estudio se encontró que existe relación significativa en el uso de las TIC y la planeación de clase con un grado de correlación alto entre las variables (Rho de Spearman: 0,767). Como conclusión del estudio se verificó y confirmó que se relaciona directamente el uso de las TIC con la planeación de clase en docentes de la Institución Educativa Empresarial y Agroindustrial los Andes del municipio de Sogamoso y la Institución Educativa Técnica de Nazareth del municipio de Nobsa, Colombia.
