Perception of the care provided by the nursing professional and stress level of the parents of newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit of a public hospital, Arequipa 2023

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to establish the relationship between the perception of the care provided by the nursing professional and the level of Stress of the parents of newborns hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit of a Public Hospital, Arequipa 2023, the present study has quantitative approach, with a hypothetical-deductive method, applied type, with a non-experimental, correlational, descriptive and cross-sectional design, in which a population of 80 parents of hospitalized neonates will be studied. The results obtained will be collected using previously validated instruments, then they will be processed, coded and subsequently entered into a database that will be designed in the Excel program. Likewise, the results obtained will be analyzed and synthesized through the statistical software version 26.0 SPSS.

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal establecer la relación entre la percepción del cuidado que brinda el profesional de enfermería y el nivel de estrés de los padres de neonatos hospitalizados en la unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un Hospital Público, Arequipa 2023; el presente estudio tiene enfoque cuantitativo, con un método hipotético-deductivo, tipo aplicada, con un diseño no experimental, correlacional, descriptivo y de corte transversal, en el que se estudiará una población de 80 padres de neonatos hospitalizados. Los resultados obtenidos serán recolectados usando instrumentos validados previamente, luego serán procesados, codificados y posteriormente serán ingresados en una base de datos que van a ser diseñados en el programa Excel, igualmente los resultados obtenidos se analizaran y sintetizaran a través del software estadístico versión 26.0 SPSS. En esta investigación se utilizará la prueba estadística Rho Spearman para análisis inferencial.
