Level of knowledge about tuberculosis in patients attending the respiratory health program in a care center in the district of La Victoria 2020

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a multi-systemic infectious disease, the respiratory system is the frequent route of infection and Mycrobacterium Tuberculosis is the main disease-causing agent in humans. Situation that generates concern as it is considered a global public health problem, national and local level. In many countries of the world, tuberculosis disease is considered a public health problem which must be addressed as a priority. This infection occurs especially in the vulnerable population, people with comorbidity. This research project will be carried out in a care center in the District of La Victoria, the population will consist of approximately 70 patients, to determine the level of knowledge about the disease of tuberculosis, a scientific investigation will be carried out through A descriptive - cross-sectional study, a single variable was considered. It is measured through an instrument developed by a Peruvian doctor Víctor A. Soto Cáceres with the research work Level of knowledge about Pulmonary Tuberculosis of the residents of a High Incidence District, Chiclayo. The results of the study will contribute to improving activities, intramural and extramural practices to raise awareness of the population regarding tuberculosis.

La tuberculosis es una enfermedad infecciosa multi sistémica, el sistema respiratorio la vía de contagio frecuente y el Mycrobacterium Tuberculosis es el principal agente causante de enfermedad en el hombre. Situación que genera preocupación por considerarse un problema de salud pública mundial, nivel nacional y local. En muchos países del mundo la enfermedad de la tuberculosis es considerada como un problema de salud pública la cual debe ser atendida como prioridad esta infección se presente especialmente en la población vulnerable, personas con comorbilidad. El presente proyecto de investigación se realizará en un centro de atención del Distrito de La Victoria, la población estará constituida por un aproximado de 70 pacientes, para determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre la enfermedad de la tuberculosis, se realizará una investigación científica a través de un estudio descriptivo – transversal, se consideró una sola variable. Se mide a través de un instrumento elaborado por un médico peruano Víctor A. Soto Cáceres con el trabajo de investigación Nivel de conocimiento sobre Tuberculosis Pulmonar de los pobladores de un Distrito de Alta Incidencia, Chiclayo. Los resultados del estudio contribuirán a mejorar las actividades, practicas entramurales y extramurales para la sensibilización de la población son respecto a tuberculosis.
