Burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in nursing staff of the UCI area at hospital of Huaraz, 2023

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in the nursing staff of the ICU area of the Huaraz Hospital, 2023. Material and method: the research responds to the hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, application type. , non-experimental, observational, cross-sectional design and correlational analysis, the population that constitutes it is a total of 80 professionals and technical nursing staff who work exclusively in the intensive care unit of the Huaraz hospital, using the survey technique and observation and as for the instrument, it is the Burnout Syndrome Survey: Maslach Burnout Inventory-Third Edition, 1997 with a reliability of Cronbach's alpha: 0.842 and The questionnaire to evaluate Job Satisfaction, with a reliability of Cronbach's alpha: 0.801.

El objetivo de este estudio es Determinar la relación entre el síndrome de burnout y la satisfacción laboral en el personal de enfermería del área UCI del Hospital de Huaraz, 2023. Material y método: la investigación responde al método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicativo, diseño no experimental, observacional, transversal y de análisis correlacional, la población que lo constituye hacen un total de 80 profesionales y personal técnico de enfermería que labora exclusivamente en unidad de cuidados intensivos del hospital de Huaraz, haciéndose uso de la técnica de encuesta y observación y en cuanto al instrumento es la Encuesta de Síndrome de Burnout: Maslach Burnout Inventory-Tercera edición, 1997 con una confiabilidad de alfa de Cronbach: 0.842 y El cuestionario para evaluar la Satisfacción Laboral, con una confiabilidad de alfa de Cronbach: 0.801.
