Nursing care and its relationship with the level of user satisfaction in the oncology service of a Lima hospital - 2022

Abstract

Introduction: User satisfaction in nursing care is of vital importance since, according to the care provided to the patient, it will depend on their continuity in treatment, and it will also greatly influence their state of mind, which is why it is It is vitally important to know the opinions and perspectives that patients or users have about the care provided by nursing staff in their daily care. Objective: Determine how nursing care is related to the level of user satisfaction in the oncology service of a hospital in Lima, 2022. Methods: The study will be observational, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The population will be made up of 60 patients receiving outpatient chemotherapy in a hospital in Lima, the sample will be taken between the months of July and August 2022. The instruments to be used will be: Quality of nursing care and CARE-Q, the Spearman correlation coefficient, with which two variables will be measured, the statistical relationship between them will be understood and evaluated without influence of any foreign variable.

Introducción: La satisfacción del usuario en el cuidado de enfermería es de vital importancia ya que de acuerdo a la atención que se le brinda al paciente va depender de su continuidad en el tratamiento, así mismo influenciara mucho en su estado de ánimo, por ellos es de vital importancia conocer las opiniones, las perspectivas que tienen los pacientes o usuarios sobre los cuidados que brinda el personal de enfermería en sus atenciones diarias. Objetivo: Determinar de qué manera el cuidado de enfermería se relaciona con el nivel de satisfacción del usuario en el servicio de oncología de un hospital de Lima, 2022. Métodos: El estudio será observacional, descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal. La población estará conformada por 60 pacientes que reciben quimioterapia ambulatoria en un hospital de Lima, la muestra será tomada entre los meses de julio y agosto del 2022. Los instrumentos a utilizar serán: Calidad del cuidado de enfermería y CARE-Q, se utilizará el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman, con los cuales se medirá dos variables, se entenderá y evaluará la relación estadística entre ellas sin influencia de ninguna variable extraña.
