Work stress and professional performance of the operating room nurse in a hospital in Ica - 2022

Abstract

Objective: determine if there is a relationship between work stress and the professional performance of the operating room nurse at a hospital in Ica - 2022. Material and methods: the methodological process established was through a quantitative model, applying a non-experimental design, correlation to a cross-sectional one. A total of 35 nursing professionals were considered in the operating room of a hospital in the Ica region as a sample. The technique for resolution was through a survey where the concepts of work stress of the ILO - WHO were applied, where its authors Ivandecevich and Matteson created, establishing Suarez's adaptation to the Peruvian reality, at the same time the Quispe instrument was used. for the evaluation of job performance.

Objetivo: determinar si existe relación entre el estrés laboral y el desempeño profesional de la enfermera de sala de operaciones de un hospital de Ica – 2022.

Material y métodos: el proceso metodológico establecido fue mediante un modelo cuantitativo, aplicativo de diseño no experimental, correlación al de corte transversal. Consideró un total de 35 profesionales de enfermería dentro de sala de operaciones de un hospital de la región Ica como muestra. La técnica para la resolución fue mediante una encuesta en donde se aplica los conceptos de estrés laboral de la OIT – OMS en donde sus autores Ivandecevich y Matteson crearon, estableciendo Suarez la adaptación a la realidad peruana, al mismo tiempo se utilizó el instrumento de Quispe para la valoración del desempeño laboral.
