Risk factors and incidence of nosocomial infections in the intensive care unit in a hospital in Lima - 2023

Abstract

The present project has the objective of determining the risk factors and the relationship in the incidence of intrahospital infections in the intensive care unit in a hospital in Lima 2023; It is also a study with a quantitative approach, Hypothetical-Deductive methodology, applied type, non-experimental, descriptive, correlational cross-sectional design; A population of 115 patients hospitalized in the ICU service in a hospital in Lima will be studied in the first semester of 2023 and the sample will be 89 patients, the questionnaire of risk factors and their influence on the incidence of Intrahospital infections. The results of the work will be collected using a previously validated instrument; later they will be processed, coded, then entered into a database that will be designed in the Excel program; Likewise, said results obtained will be analyzed and synthesized through the statistical software version 26.0 SPSS

El presente proyecto tiene el objetivo de determinar la relación entre los factores de riesgo y la incidencia de infecciones intrahospitalarias en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en un hospital de lima 2023; asimismo es un estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, de metodología Hipotético – Deductivo, de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, descriptivo, correlacional de corte trasversal; se estudiará una población de 115 pacientes hospitalizados en el servicio de UCI en un hospital de lima en el primer semestre del año del 2023 y la muestra será de 89 pacientes, se utilizará como técnica el cuestionario factores de riesgo e incidencia de las infecciones Intrahospitalarias. Los resultados del trabajo serán recolectados usando instrumento validado previamente; posteriormente serán procesados, codificados, luego ingresados en una base de datos que va a ser diseñada en el programa Excel; igualmente, dichos resultados obtenidos se analizarán y sintetizarán a través del software estadístico versión 26.0 SPSS
