Knowledge about breast cancer prevention and the practice of relatives of cancer patients in a clinic in Lima, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine the knowledge about breast cancer prevention and its relationship with the practice of relatives of cancer patients. Materials and methods: the investigation is of a quantitative approach with a hypothetical deductive method of correlational scope. The population will be made up of 85 relatives of cancer patients who are treated at the clinic under study, because it is a small population, it will be a census sample. The data will be collected through the survey using 2 questionnaires framed in the Likert scale with validity and reliability in Peru, after collecting the information the data will be processed through descriptive and inferential statistics using the Spermam RHO test, to contrast the hypotheses of the study, all ethical principles will be complied with.

Determinar el conocimiento sobre prevención de cáncer de mama y su relación con la práctica de familiares de pacientes oncológicos. Materiales y métodos: la investigación de es de enfoque cuantitativo con método hipotético deductivo de alcance correlacional la población estará conformado por 85 familiares de los pacientes oncológicos que se atienden en la clínica en estudio por ser una población pequeña será una muestra censal. Los datos se recolectarán a través de la encuesta utilizando 2 cuestionarios enmarcados en la escala de Likert con validez y confiabilidad en Perú, luego de recolectada la información los datos serán procesados a través de la estadística descriptiva e inferencial utilizando la prueba de RHO de Spermam, para contrastar las hipótesis del estudio, se cumplirá con todos los principios éticos
