Level of knowledge and basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills in nurses from the emergency service of a hospital in the Pasco Region

Abstract

The present research study entitled "Level of knowledge and skills of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation in Nurses (os) of the emergency service of a hospital in the Pasco region - 2023" had the objective of determining the relationship between the level of knowledge with the ability of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It is an investigation where a correlational study was carried out, where the survey and observation were used as techniques. A total of 50 nurses (os) who rotate in the emergency service participated in this study. The instrument used will be a questionnaire consisting of 20 items and a checklist of 20 items. These instruments were validated by 9 expert judges and with a reliability through the Kuder Richardson test and the result obtained was a value of 0.74.

El presente estudio de investigación titulado “Nivel de conocimiento y habilidades de reanimación cardiopulmonar básico en Enfermeras (os) del servicio de emergencias de un hospital de la región Pasco - 2023” tuvo como objetivo Determinar la relación que tiene el nivel de conocimiento con la habilidad de reanimación cardio pulmonar básico. Es una investigación donde se llevó a cabo un estudio correlacional, donde se utilizó como técnicas la encuesta y la observación. Participaron en este estudio un total de 50 enfermeras (os) que rotan en el servicio de emergencia. El instrumento empleado será un cuestionario que consta de 20 ítems y una lista de chequeo de 20 ítems dichos instrumentos fueron validados por 9 jueces expertos y con una confiabilidad mediante la prueba de Kuder Richardson y el resultado obtenido fue de un valor de 0.74
