Level of knowledge about the management of the polytraumatized patient and the practice of the nursing professional in the emergency service of the national dos de mayo hospital, in Lima, 2023

Abstract

Objective: "To determine how the level of knowledge about the management of polytraumatized patients is related to the practice of the Nursing Professional", population will be made up of 89 nursing professionals, who work in the Emergency Service of the Dos de Mayo National Hospital. Methodological Design: The type of research will be applied. Design will be non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational. Instruments: To evaluate the variable "Level of knowledge about the management of the polytraumatized patient" the questionnaire designed by Carranza in 2019 will be used, reliable through Cronbach's Alpha with an index of 0.69 and to evaluate the variable "Nursing professional practice" The observation guide designed by Maquera and Vidal in 2018 will be applied, reliable through Cronbach's Alpha with an index of 0.804. The data collection techniques will be the survey and observation. Statistical processing and data analysis: it will be carried out using descriptive techniques and frequencies expressed in percentages, the statistical analysis will be according to its distribution through the non-parametric statistical test Spearman's Rho correlation.

Objetivo: “Determinar como el nivel de conocimiento sobre el manejo del paciente politraumatizado se relaciona con la práctica del Profesional de Enfermería”, población estará constituida por 89 profesionales de enfermería, que trabajan en el Servicio de Emergencia del Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo. Diseño Metodológico: El tipo de investigación será aplicada. Diseño será no experimental, descriptivo, transversal, correlacional. Instrumentos: Para evaluar la variable “Nivel de conocimiento sobre el manejo del paciente politraumatizado” se utilizará el cuestionario diseñado por Carranza en el año 2019, confiable mediante Alpha de Cronbach con índice de 0.69 y para evaluar la variable “Práctica del profesional de enfermería” se aplicará la guía de observación diseñada por Maquera y Vidal en el año 2018, confiable mediante Alpha de Cronbach con índice de 0.804. Las técnicas de recolección de datos serán la encuesta y observación. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de datos: se realizará mediante técnicas descriptivas y frecuencias expresadas en porcentajes, el análisis estadístico será según sea su distribución a través de la prueba estadística no paramétrica correlación Rho de Spearman
