Therapeutic communication of the nurse and adherence to treatment in patients with HIV, in a health center, Lima 2024

Abstract

Objective: determine the relationship between therapeutic communication from the nurse and adherence to treatment in patients with HIV, in a health center, Lima 2024. Methodology: the study will be quantitative with a hypothetical deductive approach applied. Design: descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional correlational scope. Sample: will be made up of a total population of 320 patients continuing antiretroviral treatment and a sample of 175 patients, with cluster sampling. The survey technique will be used and the instrument will be the Likerttype scale questionnaire for the therapeutic communication variable and the “SMAQ” questionnaire modified by the authors Lorena Castillo and Ana Saldaña in 2020 for the treatment adherence variable; which were validated and reliable to measure the target population and the variables in question. The collected data will be processed in SPSS 25 and the hypotheses will be tested using the Spearman correlation coefficient statistical test given the quantitative nature of the variables

Objetivo: determinar la relación que existe entre comunicación terapéutica de la enfermera y adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con VIH, en un centro de salud, Lima 2024. Metodología: el estudio será cuantitativo de enfoque hipotético deductivo aplicado. Diseño: descriptivo, no experimental y de alcance correlacional de corte transversal. Muestra: estará conformada por una población total de 320 pacientes continuadores en tratamiento antirretroviral y una muestra de 175 pacientes, con muestreo por conglomerado. Se utilizará la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento será el cuestionario escala de tipo Likert para la variable comunicación terapéutica y el cuestionario “SMAQ” modificado por las autoras Lorena Castillo y Ana Saldaña en el año 2020 para la variable adherencia al tratamiento; los cuales fueron validados y confiables para medir la población objetivo y las variables en cuestión. Los datos recolectados serán procesados en SPSS 25 y las hipótesis se probarán usando la prueba estadística del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman dado la naturaleza cuantitativa de las variables.
