Quality of nursing care and satisfaction of the elderly in the municipal shelter María Rosario Araoz Pinto in the district of Chorrillos - 2023

Abstract

Introduction: Quality is an indicator of well-being in health users, especially when there are degrees of dependency, fragility or vulnerability, due to advanced age, being important to achieve satisfaction when receiving Nursing care. Objective: To determine the quality of nursing care and the level of satisfaction of older adults in the María Rosario Araoz Pinto municipal shelter in the district of Chorrillos - 2023. Methods: The study will have a qualitative approach, applied type, and design non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional. The study sample will consist of the total number of older adult patients at the María Rosario Araoz Pinto municipal shelter, in the district of Chorrillos, with a total of 60 patients. The sampling will be non-probabilistic. Participants for their collaboration must meet the exclusion and inclusion criteria. The technique will be the survey, and the instrument to be applied will be the so-called "Level of satisfaction and quality of Nursing Care", which is validated and reliable. Data collection will take place within a period of 30 business days. The collection of answers will be organized through an Excel table for later processing in the IBM SPSS version 25.0 software. Once the data has been processed, the statistical calculations will be applied, obtaining the validated results, which will be expressed in tables and graphs. In addition, an inferential analysis will be carried out, using the KolmogorovSmirnov test, to later apply a Spearman's Rho, thus establishing the level of significance and whether the alternate hypothesis or the null hypothesis is accepted.

Objetivo: Determinar la calidad de la atención de enfermería y el nivel de satisfacción de los adultos mayores en el albergue municipal María Rosario Araoz Pinto del distrito de Chorrillos – 2023. Métodos: El estudio será de enfoque cualitativo, de tipo aplicado, y de diseño no experimental, descriptivo y con corte transversal. La muestra del estudio estará constituida por el número total de pacientes adultos mayores albergue municipal María Rosario Araoz Pinto, en el distrito de Chorrillos, siendo un total de 60 pacientes. El muestreo será no probabilístico. Los participantes para su colaboración deberán cumplir los criterios de exclusión e inclusión. La técnica será la encuesta, y el instrumento a aplicarse será el denominado “Nivel de satisfacción y calidad de Atención de Enfermería”, el cual se encuentra validado y es confiable. La obtención de datos se efectivizará en un periodo de 30 días hábiles. La recopilación de respuestas será organizada a través de tabla Excel para su posterior procesamiento en el software IBM SPSS versión 25.0. Procesada la data se aplicarán los cálculos estadísticos, obteniéndose los resultados validados, los cuales serán expresados en tablas y gráficos
