Knowledge about inmunizations and attitudes of mothers of children under five years of age in a maternal and child center in Lima - 2023

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about immunization in mothers of children under five years of age in a mother and child center in Lima - 2023. In order to achieve the objective, a quantitative approach, hypothetical deductive method, applied type, non-experimental design, correlational level and cross-sectional approach was proposed, in which 50 mothers of children under 5 years of age attending a mother and child center in Lima - Peru will participate. The sample will be the same number of participants because it is a minimum number. Two questionnaires will be applied to the sample: one to measure the level of knowledge about immunizations and the other, a questionnaire to measure the attitude on the subject. The information collected will be processed and the results will be shown in tables and charts.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre inmunizaciones y la actitud de las madres de niños menores de cinco años de un centro materno infantil de Lima -2023. Para alcanzar el objetivo se planteó una metodología cuyo enfoque fue cuantitativo, método hipotético deductivo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, nivel correccional y de corte transversal, en la cual participaran 250 madres de niños menores de 5 años que asisten a un centro materno infantil en Lima-Perú. La muestra será la misma cantidad de participante por tratarse de una cantidad mínima. A la muestra se le aplicara dos cuestionarios: uno para medir el nivel de conocimiento sobre inmunizaciones y el otro, un cuestionario para medir la actitud sobre el tema. La información recolectada será procesada y sus resultados serán mostrados en gráficos y tablas. Finalmente, se evaluara el grado de relación entre ambas variables mediante el coeficiente de Spearman, que dará respuesta al objetivo planteado.
