dc.description.abstract	The present study evaluated the distortion of length in images of dental pieces obtained through conventional and digital radiography, an in vitro study conducted in Lima in 2018. The study was carried out at the Radiological Center of Norbert Wiener University. It is an observational, prospective, cross-sectional study with a descriptive research level. Thirty extracted teeth were used, measured with a caliper, and the measurements were recorded on a data collection form. The teeth were then fixed in a stabilization template with acrylic to standardize the dental position. The paired Student's t-test was applied. Results: No significant differences were found in the measurement of the length of dental pieces in images obtained with conventional radiography and digital radiography compared to the actual measurement of the dental piece. However, highly significant differences (p<0.01) were found in the measurement of the length of dental pieces between conventional radiography and digital radiography. Conclusion: There is no significant distortion in obtaining conventional and digital radiographic images.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	El presente estudio evaluó la distorsión de la longitud en imágenes de piezas dentarias obtenidas con radiografía convencional y radiografía digital estudio invitro lima 2018. Se llevó acabo en el Centro Radiologico de la Universidad Norbert Wiener. Es un estudio de tipo: Observacional, prospectivo, transversal, nivel de investigación descriptivo. Se utilizaron 30 dientes extraídos, fueron medidos con pie de rey y se anotaron las medidas en la ficha de recolección después fijados en una plantilla de estabilización con acrílico a fin de estandarizar la posición dental. Se aplico prueba de T de Student para muestras pareadas. Resultados: No se encontraron diferencias significativas en la medición de la longitud de piezas dentarias en imágenes obtenidas con radiografía convencional y radiografía digital con la medición real de la pieza dentaria. Además se encontraron diferencias altamente significativas (p<0,01) en la medición de la longitud de piezas dentarias en imágenes obtenidas con radiografía convencional y la medición con radiografía digital. Conclusión: no existe distorsión significativa en la obtención de la imagen radiográfica convencional y digital.	es_ES
