Family functioning of adolescents at the secondary level of an educational institution Chorrillos - 2021

Abstract

Introduction: Family functioning in these times of pandemic has been affected in this stage of adolescence where there are great physical and psychological changes, students who through confinement have acquired responsibilities such as household chores and added schoolwork. Objective: Determine the family functioning of secondary school adolescents. Methodology: The study uses a deductive - hypothetical method, it has a quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design, descriptive type, with cross-section. Population and sample: The population is made up of 150 adolescent students from 1st – 5th secondary level of a Chorrillos Educational Institution, they were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in the research. Regarding the sample, we will work with the total population, therefore no sampling technique will be used because it is a finite population. Data collection technique and instrument: It will be a survey for the variable and its instrument is made up of 20 items, which is assessed with a Likert-type scale, the scale evaluates two dimensions. Data analysis: it will be done through a form using the Google Drive platform, the data obtained will be organized and tabulated, exporting it to the SPSS 25 software, which will allow the development of tables and graphs as results.

Introducción: El funcionamiento familiar en estos tiempos de pandemia ha sido afectado en esta etapa de la adolescencia donde hay grandes cambios físicos y psicológicos, los estudiantes que a través del encierro han adquirido responsabilidades como labores del hogar y a ello sumado las tareas escolares. Objetivo: Determinar el funcionamiento familiar de los adolescentes del nivel secundario. Metodología: El estudio es de método deductivo – hipotético, cuenta con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, de diseño no experimental, tipo descriptivo, con corte transversal. Población y muestra: La población está conformada por 150 estudiantes adolescentes de 1ro – 5to de nivel secundario de una Institución Educativa Chorrillos, fueron seleccionados de acuerdo a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión planteados en la investigación. En cuanto a la muestra se trabajará con la población total, por ello no se utilizará técnica de muestro por ser una población finita. Técnica e instrumento de recolección de datos: Sera una encuesta para la variable y su instrumento está conformada por 20 ítems, que valora con una escala tipo Likert, la escala evalúa dos dimensiones. Análisis de datos: se dará a través de un formulario haciendo uso de la plataforma Google Drive, los datos obtenidos se organizarán y tabularán exportándolos al software SPSS 25, el cual permitirá el desarrollo de tablas y gráficos como resultados.
