Attitude and adherence to vaccination among mothers of children under 5 years of age at the International Medical & Health Vaccination Center January - 2021

Abstract

The general objective of this article project was to determine the relationship between attitude and adherence to vaccination of mothers of children under 5 years of age. A study was carried out with a quantitative approach, correlational, prospective and cross-sectional, the sample consisted of 200 users selected in a simple random probabilistic manner. To collect the data, the survey technique was applied, the instrument for attitude was a questionnaire prepared according to the Likert scale that consists of 15 closed questions with multiple alternatives, following the presentation of the variables under study, having as a scale of answers (never, almost never, sometimes, always, almost always), the binomial test will be applied (p<0.05), in the same way for Adherence the questionnaire prepared according to the Likert scale that consists of 25 questions will be used. closed with multiple alternatives, following the presentation of the variables under study, having as a response scale (never, almost never, sometimes, always, almost always), where the binomial test was applied (p<0.05). The data obtained will be processed in the mathematical program Excel, then analyzed in the statistical software SPSS, version 24, initially manually through coding.

Este proyecto de artículo tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación entre la actitud y la adherencia a la vacunación de las madres de niños menores de 5 años. Se realizó un estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo correlacional, prospectivo y de corte trasversal, la muestra estuvo constituida por 200 usuarios seleccionada de manera probabilística aleatoria simple. Para la recolección de los datos se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta, el instrumento para la actitud fue un cuestionario elaborado según la escala de Likert que consta de 15 preguntas cerradas con alternativas múltiples, siguiendo la presentación de las variables en estudio, teniendo como escala de respuestas (nunca, casi nunca, algunas veces, siempre, casi siempre), se aplicara la prueba binomial (p<0.05), de la misma manera para la Adherencia se utilizara el cuestionario elaborado según la escala de Likert que consta de 25 preguntas cerradas con alternativas múltiples, siguiendo la presentación de las variables en estudio, teniendo como escala de respuestas (nunca, casi nunca, algunas veces, siempre, casi siempre), donde se aplicara la prueba binomial (p<0.05). Los datos obtenidos serán procesados en el programa matemático Excel, luego analizados en el software estadístico SPSS, versión 24, al inicio manual mediante codificación.
