Objective: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of older adult patients at the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital - Essalud-2022. Materials and Methods: The research follows the deductive method, with a quantitative approach, applied type, and descriptive non-experimental cross-sectional design. Given that the population is limited, the sample will consist of the total population, i.e., 120 hospitalized patients from the selected hospital. The survey technique was used, and the instrument for nursing care quality will be the CARE-Q questionnaire. Additionally, a pilot study in the Spanish version was conducted with a Colombian population for validation, showing reliability from 0.88 to 0.97 according to Cronbach's alpha. For the satisfaction of older adults, the instrument used was the Anita Remuzgo questionnaire, validated with the Pearson R test. The results indicated that the items had a value greater than "r > 0.2," thus confirming the validity of the form. Data will be entered into an Excel data matrix, which will then be imported into IBM SPSS Statistics version 27.0. The information will always be verified for accuracy. The results will be summarized in tables and graphs that will be explained in the following sections. These will be non-parametric variables as they are qualitative variables.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación de la calidad del cuidado de enfermería y la satisfacción del paciente adulto mayor del Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen-Essalud-2022.Material y método: La investigación responde al método deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicativo con diseño descriptivo – no experimental y transversal, dado que la población es limitada, la muestra será el total de la población, es decir 120 hospitalizados del nosocomio escogido, se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento para calidad de cuidado de enfermería, será el cuestionario CARE–Q. Adicionalmente se hizo un estudio piloto en versión español en población colombiana para su validación tiene una confiabilidad de 0.88 a 0.97 de acuerdo con el alfa de Cronbach, y para satisfacción del adulto mayor será el cuestionario de Anita Remuzgo, la validación fue con la prueba R de Pearson; los resultados indicaron que los ítems tienen un valor mayor de “r> 0.2”, por ende el formulario tiene validez. Los datos se ingresarán en la matriz de datos en Excel, luego la matriz o tabla se importará a IBM SPSS Statistics versión 27.0, y siempre verificará si la información es correcta. Los resultados se resumirán en las tablas y gráficos que se explicarán en los siguientes apartados. Serán variables no paramétricas porque son variables cualitativas.
