Satisfaction of parents of children under 2 years of age on nursing care at the Progreso Health Center, Chaclacayo 2019

Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the satisfaction of parents of children under 2 years of age regarding nursing care at the Progreso health center, Chaclacayo 2019. The method: It is a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach, it has a single variable, the population was made up of 300 parents, the sample was obtained using the non-probabilistic and non-random convenience sampling technique, achieving a sample of 60 parents. Results: Statistically, it was evident that parents had high satisfaction and this result was obtained in the following order of Human, Technical-scientific and Environment dimensions. Conclusions: It is concluded that the parents of children under 2 years of age had high satisfaction with nursing care. Regarding the dimensions evaluated, the Humana obtained a higher percentage of satisfaction because the nurse has good treatment, empathy, a simple way of guiding and respecting the customs of the parents who come to the comprehensive care service. In the same way, in the Technical-scientific dimension, attributing that the nursing staff handles updated knowledge, implementing care such as the DIT approach, etc. according to the evolution of interventions in early childhood. Finally, in the Environment dimension, high and medium satisfaction was obtained, due to the waiting time to make an appointment, given that the demand of users is too much and there is a limited human staff that overloads the care activities, in the same way. There is no adequate infrastructure, which makes quality care difficult. With this evidence we can affirm that at the Progreso health center there is high satisfaction regarding nursing care.

El objetivo del estudio fue conocer la satisfacción de los padres de niños menores de 2 años sobre la atención de enfermería en el centro de salud Progreso, Chaclacayo 2019. El método: Es una investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo de corte transversal, cuenta con una sola variable, la población estuvo conformada por 300 padres, la muestra fue obtenida usando la técnica de muestreo no probabilístico y no aleatorio por conveniencia, logrando una muestra de 60 padres. Resultados: Estadísticamente se evidenció que los padres tuvieron una satisfacción alta y se obtuvo este resultado en el siguiente orden de dimensión Humana, Técnico-científico y Entorno. Conclusiones: Se concluye que los padres de los menores de 2 años tuvieron una satisfacción Alta sobre la atención de enfermería. En cuanto a las dimensiones evaluadas, la Humana obtuvo mayor porcentaje de satisfacción esto debido a que la enfermera tiene un buen trato, empatía, forma sencilla de orientar y respetar las costumbres de los padres que acuden al servicio de atención integral. Del mismo modo en la dimensión Técnico-científico atribuyendo a que el personal de enfermería maneja conocimientos actualizados, implementando atenciones como el enfoque DIT, etc. de acorde a la evolución de intervenciones en primera infancia. Por último, en la dimensión Entorno se obtuvo una satisfacción alta y media, debido al tiempo de espera para lograr una cita, dado que la demanda de usuarios es demasiado y existe un limitado personal humano que sobrecarga las actividades de las atenciones, del mismo modo no se cuenta con una adecuada infraestructura, lo que dificulta una calidad de atención. Con estas evidencias podemos afirmar que en el centro de salud progreso existe una satisfacción alta en cuanto a la atención de enfermería.
