Knowledge about anemia prevention and practices carried out by mothers of children under 3 years of age - Hospital II of Huaraz, 2022.

Abstract

This research focuses specifically on knowledge regarding the actions that must be followed to prevent anemia and the practices that mothers apply to avoid its presence in children under 3 years of age, in order to know the existing reality regarding this problem and, from there, look for mechanisms that allow guaranteeing the comprehensive health of minors, avoiding risks that may put their lives at risk. Objective: to determine the relationship between knowledge about anemia prevention and practices performed by mothers of children under 3 years of age at Hospital II in Huaraz, 2022. Materials and methods: it will be quantitative, applied, descriptive and correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional. The sample will consider 132 mothers. The instruments will be a questionnaire and a Likert scale.

Esta investigación se enfoca específicamente en el conocimiento respecto a las acciones que se deben seguir para prevenir la anemia y las prácticas que las madres aplican para evitar su presencia en niños que tienen menos de 3 años, a fin de conocer la realidad existente respecto a esta problemática y, a partir de ello, buscar mecanismos que permitan garantizar la salud integral de los menores, evitándoles riesgos que puedan poner en riesgo su vida. Objetivo: determinar cuál es la relación entre conocimiento sobre prevención de anemia y prácticas que realizan las madres de niños menores de 3 años del Hospital II de Huaraz, 2022. Materiales y métodos: será cuantitativa, aplicada, descriptiva y correlacional, no experimental, transversal. la muestra considerará 132 madres. Los instrumentos serán un cuestionario y una escala de Likert.
