Job satisfaction and quality of nursing care in the emergency service

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between job satisfaction and quality of nursing care, the population will consist of 30 nursing professionals who work in the Emergency Service of the Huacho regional hospital. Sample: the total population, Methodological Design: The type of research will be applied. Design will be non-experimental, hypothetical-deductive quantitative. Instruments: To evaluate the variable "job satisfaction" the questionnaire adapted by Sonia Palma Carrillo in 2011, reliable through Crombach's Alpha of 0.733, will be used and to evaluate the variable "quality of nursing care" the questionnaire adapted by Patricia Larson will be applied in the 2019, reliable through Crombach's Alpha with an index of 0.88. The data collection technique will be the survey. Statistical processing and data analysis: it will be carried out using descriptive techniques and frequencies expressed in percentages, the statistical analysis will be according to its distribution through parametric statistical tests (Pearson Correlation) or non-parametric tests (Spearman's Rho Correlation).

Instrumentos: Para evaluar la variable “satisfacción laboral” se utilizará el cuestionario adaptado por Sonia Palma Carrillo en el 2011 confiable mediante Alpha de Crombach de 0.733 y para evaluar la variable “calidad de cuidado enfermero” se aplicará el cuestionario adaptado por Patricia Larson en el 2019, confiable mediante Alpha de Crombach con índice de 0.88. La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de datos: se realizará mediante técnicas descriptivas y frecuencias expresadas en porcentajes, el análisis estadístico será según sea su distribución a través de pruebas estadísticas paramétricas (Correlación de Pearson) o no paramétricas (Correlación Rho de Spearman).
