Level of knowledge about prevention in Diabetic Foot in diabetic patients who attend the Outpatient Consultation of the Endocrinology Service in a Health Care Provider Institution, Lima- 2022

Abstract

Objective: Level of knowledge about prevention in Diabetic Foot in diabetic patients who attend the Outpatient Clinic of the Endocrinology Service in a Health Provider Institution, Lima - 2022 Material and method: This Project is a quantitative, descriptive research, it will allow to describe a situation of the study group, likewise without manipulating any variable. Likewise, it will be cross-sectional since the information will be obtained at a specific time and moment. CONCLUSIONS. Diabetic foot is presented as a main complication of patients diagnosed with diabetes, statistics show that 20% of hospitalizations of patients with diabetes are due to an ulceration. Self-care on risk factors, adequate hygiene and foot care contribute to reducing the presence of ulcerations.

Objetivo: Nivel de conocimiento sobre prevención en Pie Diabético en pacientes diabéticos que acuden a Consulta Externa del Servicio de Endocrinología en una Institución Prestadora de Salud, Lima- 2022 Material y método: Este Proyecto es una investigación cuantitativa, de tipo descriptivo, permitirá describir una situación del grupo en estudio, así mismo sin manipular variable alguna. Asimismo, será de corte transversal ya que la información se obtendrá será en un momento y tiempo específico. Conclusiones: El pie Diabético se presenta como una principal complicación de los pacientes diagnosticados con diabetes, estadísticas demuestran que el 20 % de hospitalizaciones de pacientes con diabetes es por una ulceración. El autocuidado sobre los factores de riesgo, higiene adecuada y cuidado de los pies contribuye a disminuir la presencia de ulceraciones.
