Relationship between the level of knowledge and practice in nurses on aspiration of secretions in patients in the emergency department of the Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz Lima 2021

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and practice in nurses regarding aspiration of secretions in patients in the emergency service. Methodology: The present research study in terms of its approach will be quantitative, applied, and non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational in design. The sample will be made up of 20 nurses from the emergency service. As for technical knowledge, it will be the survey, for practice, observation. The instruments that will be used for the knowledge variable will be the questionnaire, which will be executed in a single moment, for the practical variable it will be a checklist, which will be executed in a single moment. To collect the information, it will be done through a link shared through WhatsApp for the development of the questionnaire. The checklist will be carried out through observation at the time of performing the procedure, which is aspiration of secretions. With respect to the data obtained, the Microsoft Excel version 9 program will be carried out, subsequently it will be exported to the SPSS version 24.0 software to execute the corresponding statistical calculations, thus developing the tables and graphs for the analysis of the variables.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimientos y práctica en las enfermeras sobre aspiración de secreciones en pacientes en el servicio de emergencia. Metodología: El presente estudio de investigación en cuanto a su enfoque será cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, y de diseño no experimental, descriptivo, y correlacional, La muestra estará conformada por 20 enfermeras del servicio de emergencia. En cuanto a la técnica conocimiento será la encuesta, para la practica la observación. Los instrumentos que se utilizaran para la variable conocimiento será el cuestionario, que será ejecutada en un solo momento, para la variable practica será checklist, que será ejecutada en un solo momento. Para recolectar la información se realizará por medio de un link compartido a través del whasaap para el desarrollo del cuestionario. El checklist se realizará a través de la observación al momento de realizar el procedimiento que es la aspiración de secreciones. con respecto a la data obtenida se efectuará el programa de Microsoft Excel versión 9, posteriormente se exportará al software SPSS versión 24.0 para ejecutar los cálculos estadísticos correspondientes, así desarrollar las tablas y gráficos para el análisis de las variables.
