Quality of nursing care for the newborn and the satisfaction of the mothers of the neonatology service of the Hospital San José, Chincha 2023

Abstract

Introduction: health institutions have the challenge of providing quality care, being the nurse the one who provides care, these must be safe and specialized, as in the case of neonates due to their high morbidity and mortality, care is based on scientific knowledge that allows to identify the needs in a holistic approach and to satisfy the health needs that can be perceived by the mothers or other relatives. Objective: to relate the quality of the nursing care of the newborn and the satisfaction of the mothers of the Neonatology service of the San José hospital, Chincha 2023. Methodology: a hypothetical deductive, descriptive, cross-correlational method will be used, with the participation of 90 mothers from the neonatology service. The technique used is the survey, the instruments are valid and reliable, the CARE Q questionnaire will be applied to measure quality of care and another questionnaire to evaluate mothers' satisfaction. The data processing is carried out through descriptive and inferential statistical analysis applying the SPSS 25.0 program for the correlation we will apply the Spearman test. The results are presented in tables and graphs.

Introducción: las instituciones de salud tienen el desafío de brindar atenciones de calidad siendo la enfermera la que provee los cuidados estos deben ser seguros y especializados como el caso de los neonatos por su alta morbi-mortalidad, los cuidados se basan en conocimientos científicos que les permita identificar las necesidades en un enfoque holístico y satisfacer las necesidades salud que pueden ser percibidos por las madres u otros familiares.Objetivo: relacionar la calidad del cuidado de enfermería del recién nacido y la satisfacción de las madres del servicio de Neonatología del hospital San José, Chincha 2023. Metodología: se trabajará con un método hipotético deductivo, descriptivo, correlacional transversal, con la participación 90 madres del servicio de neonatología. La técnica usada es la encueta los instrumentos son válidos y confiables se aplicará el cuestionario Care Q para medir calidad de cuidados y otro cuestionario para evaluar satisfacción de las madres. El procesamiento de datos se realiza a través análisis estadístico descriptivo e inferencial aplicando el programa SPSS 25.0 para la correlación aplicaremos la prueba de Spearman Los resultados se presentan en de cuadros y gráficos
