Quality of care and application of preventive measures for pressure injuries in nurses at the intensive care unit service in a hospital in lima, 2022

Abstract

The method that will be followed by the present scientific research will be deductive, cross-sectional, quantitative approach, applied type and non-experimental, correlational design. The population will be made up of all the nursing staff of the ICU Service of the Hospital. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: two questionnaires with a Likert scale will be applied to the defined population that allow studying the measurable aspects of the quality of care and the application of preventive measures for pressure injuries, through the survey technique. Both instruments have validation and reliability. Statistical Analysis: A descriptive analysis of the variables and an inferential analysis will be performed in order to verify the hypotheses raised.

El método que seguirá la presente investigación científica será el deductivo, de corte transversal, enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado y diseño no experimental, correlacional. la población estará conformada por todo el personal de enfermería del Servicio UCI del Hospital. Técnicas e Instrumentos de Recogida de Datos: a la población definida se le aplicarán dos cuestionarios con escala de Likert que permitan estudiar los aspectos medibles de la calidad del cuidado y la aplicación de medidas preventiva de lesiones por presión, a través de la técnica de la encuesta. Ambos instrumentos poseen validación y confiabilidad. Análisis Estadístico: Se realizará análisis descriptivo de las variables y análisis inferencial a fin de comprobar si las hipótesis planteadas.
