Family satisfaction regarding the care provided by the health professional in the intensive care unit of a metropolitan clinic, Lima 2020

Abstract

Objective: Determine the level of family satisfaction with respect to the care provided by the health professional in the intensive care unit of a metropolitan clinic, Lima 2020 Material and methods: The research will have a quantitative approach because the data will be collected based on numerical measurement to later be analyzed statistically. Likewise, it is of a cross-sectional descriptive type, considering that the variable will be measured only once in a moment of time using the FS-ICU questionnaire, which is a survey developed by Heyland et al, in the department of medicine and nursing at Kingston. general hospital in Ontario Canada. The questionnaire items were developed from the conceptual definition of patient satisfaction which will be applied to 60 relatives of patients admitted to the adult ICU service.

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de satisfacción familiar con respecto a los cuidados brindados por el profesional de salud en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de una clínica metropolitana, Lima 2020 Material y métodos: La investigación será de enfoque cuantitativo porque se recolectará los datos con base en la medición numérica para posteriormente analizarse estadísticamente. Asimismo, es de tipo descriptivo de corte transversal, considerando que la variable será medida una sola vez en un instante de tiempo haciendo uso del cuestionario FS-ICU que es una encuesta elaborada por Heyland y cols, en el departamento de medicina y enfermería del Kingston general hospital en Ontario Canadá. Los ítems del cuestionario se desarrollaron a partir de la definición conceptual de satisfacción de pacientes el cual se aplicará a 60 familiares de pacientes internados en el servicio de uci adultos.
