Attitude of mothers and the supply of micronutrients in children from 6 to 35 months in a health center, Lima-2023

Abstract

The objective of this research work was to determine the relationship that exists between the level of attitude and the adherence of mothers to the supply of micronutrients in children from 6 to 35 months of a Health Center in Lima in the year 2023. The study It has a Methodology with a quantitative approach, applied, with a non-experimental, correlational cross-sectional design, of a hypothetical deductive method. The sample consisted of 100 mothers of children from 6 to 35 months. The instrument used for the first variable is the mothers' attitude test, developed and validated by Taype (2019), consisting of 25 items. The other instrument that was used for the second variable Micronutrient Supply is the Adherence tab instrument and the questionnaire, made up of 15 items and created in the same way by Taype in 2019. The final data will be entered into an Excell 2021 database, then it will be transferred to the SPSS version 27 program, to carry out the descriptive statistics and represent them in tables and figures; In addition to the inferential statistics which will allow the testing of the hypotheses and thus determine if there is a relationship between the variables, for this the non-parametric test of Spearman's Rho will be applied and to see the correlation the chi-square and ensuring informed consent, ethical aspects of participation prior approval of the same.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de actitud de las madres y su relación con el suministro de micronutrientes en niños de 6 a 35 meses de un Centro de Salud de Lima en el año 2023. Material y método: Tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, aplicada, con diseño no experimental, correlacional de corte transversal, de método hipotético deductivo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 100 madres de niños de 6 a 35 meses. El instrumento que se utilizó para la primera variable es el test de actitud de las madres, elaborado y validado por Taype en 2019, constituido por 25 ítems. El otro instrumento que se utilizó para la segunda variable Suministro de micronutrientes es el instrumento ficha cuestionario, conformado por 15 ítems y creado de igual forma por Taype el año 2019. Los datos finales se vaciarán en una base de datos Excell 2021, después se trasladará al programa SPSS versión 27, para realizar las estadísticas descriptivas y representarlas en tablas y figuras; además de las estadísticas inferenciales las cuales van a permitir realizar la contrastación de las hipótesis y así determinar si existe relación de las variables, para esto se aplicará la prueba no paramétrica de Rho de Spearman y para ver la correlación se utilizó el chi cuadrado y asegurando el consentimiento informado, aspectos éticos de la participación previa aprobación del mismo.
