Stress at work in times of covid 19 and its relationship with the quality of care of the clinical laboratory staff of a hospital in Lima - 2022.

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between work-related stress during the Covid-19 pandemic and the quality of care provided by the Clinical Laboratory staff of a hospital in Lima – 2022. Material and Methods: This study is quantitative in nature, as data collection is used to demonstrate the hypothesis through statistical analysis and the examination of the described dimensions to understand the effects of behavior patterns in a certain group of individuals. When referring to quantitative research, we are speaking of the statistical field; this is the basis of the approach: to objectively analyze a given reality through numbers, measurements, and statistical analysis in order to derive behavior patterns for the phenomenon in question, with a descriptive correlational research design. Results: It was found that there is a relationship between work-related stress and quality of care (p=0.00).

Objetivo: Analizar la relación existente entre el estrés en el trabajo en tiempos de Covid – 19 y la calidad de atención del personal del Laboratorio Clínico de un hospital de Lima – 2022. Material y método. Este estudio es de carácter cuantitativo, debido a que el recojo de datos se utiliza para demostrar la hipótesis mediante un análisis de denominación estadística y el examen de las dimensiones descritas para conocer los efectos de los patrones de comportamiento de cierto conjunto de individuos. Al referirnos a una investigación cuantitativa, hablamos del campo estadístico; éste es el fundamento del enfoque: analizar de manera objetiva una determinada realidad por medio de números, mediciones y análisis de carácter estadístico, con el fin de derivar patrones de comportamiento para el suceso en cuestión; teniendo como diseño de investigación descriptivo correlacional. Resultados: Se encontró que existe relación entre estrés laboral y calidad de atención (p=0.00).
