Pain of the newborn subjected to invasive nursing procedures in the neonatal intensive care unit of the Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz hospital - Puente Piedra, 2020

Abstract

This academic work has a quantitative approach, through scope and analysis of the results, it has a descriptive level; according to the period and sequence of the investigation it is transversal and according to the time of occurrence of the investigated events it is prospective. The sample will consist of all newborns hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz Hospital in Puente Piedra, during the months of October to November 2020, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria raised in this research. The sample size will consist of 60 study subjects and the type of sampling will be non-probabilistic and non-random for convenience. To assess pain, the Susan Givens Bell Pain Assessment Scale will be applied.

El presente Trabajo académico tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, mediante alcance y análisis en los resultados, tiene un nivel descriptivo; según el periodo y secuencia de la investigación es transversal y según el tiempo de ocurrencia de los hechos investigados es prospectivo. la muestra estará constituida por todos los recién nacidos Hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Carlos Lanfranco la Hoz de Puente Piedra, durante los meses de octubre a noviembre del año 2020, aplicando criterios de inclusión y exclusión planteados en la presente investigación. El tamaño de la muestra estará constituido por 60 sujetos de estudio y el tipo de muestreo será no probabilístico y no aleatorio por conveniencia. Para valorar el dolor se aplicará la Escala de Valoración del Dolor de Susan Givens Bell.
