Abstract

The present study is important because it allows to know the various theories on the quality of life and coping of the patient with breast cancer. For which a theoretical framework has been structured, a bibliographic review design on aspects related to the study variables Objective: To identify the relationship between quality of life and coping strategies in patients with Breast Cancer undergoing outpatient chemotherapy Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital - 2021 Methods: The design of this research will be cross-sectional, descriptive, correlational. The population will basically be made up of cancer patients who are treated and undergo outpatient chemotherapy, regardless of the state of the disease, in addition, for the study it will be necessary to obtain a random sample, due to a limited population, therefore, 80 patients will be effective. In terms of sampling, under the qualities of the research design, and especially the sample size, no sampling will be applied. The technique to be used is the survey and for this the instrument will be "The EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaire version 3", it has 30 items divided into global health / quality of life scales, which are nothing less than five functional scales. It will have a basic structure that includes 30 items that are divided into a global health / quality of life scale, in 5 functional scales "(physical, daily activities, emotional, cognitive and social role)" as well as three symptom scales "(fatigue, pain and nausea / vomiting)" finally an item that corresponds to and evaluates additional symptoms "(dyspnea, loss of appetite, insomnia, constipation and diarrhea)" and the economic impact, which will collect data to be processed through non-parametric tests to identify the relationship between both variables Quality of life and coping strategies of the patient with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy.

El presente estudio es importante porque permite conocer las diversas teorías sobre la calidad de vida y el afrontamiento del paciente con cáncer de mama Por el cual se ha estructura un marco teórico, diseño de revisión bibliográfico sobre aspectos relacionados a las variables de estudio Objetivo: Identificar la relación entre calidad de vida y estrategias de afrontamiento en paciente con Cáncer de Mama sometido a quimioterapia ambulatoria Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen- 2021 Métodos: El diseño de la presente investigación será del tipo transversal, descriptivo, correlacional. la población estará formada básicamente por pacientes con cáncer que son atendidos y sometidos a quimioterapia ambulatoria, sin importar el estado de la enfermedad, además, Para el estudio será necesario obtener una muestra aleatoria, a raíz de una población limitada, por tanto, será efectivo 80 pacientes en temas de muestreo, bajo las cualidades del diseño de investigación, y sobre todo el tamaño de la muestra, no se aplicará ningún muestreo. la técnica que se utilizará es la encuesta y para ello el instrumento será “El cuestionario EORTC QLQ-C30 versión 3”, posee 30 ítems repartidas en escalas globales de salud/calidad de vida, que son nada menos que cinco escalas funcionales tendrá una estructura básica que incluyen 30 ítems que se reparten en una escala global de salud/ calidad de vida, en 5 escalas funcionales “(física, actividades cotidianas, rol emocional, cognitiva y social)” así también están tres escalas de síntomas “(fatiga, dolor y náuseas / vómitos)” finalmente un ítem que corresponde y evalúa síntomas adicionales “(disnea, pérdida de apetito, insomnio, estreñimiento y diarrea)” y el impacto económico, que recogerán datos para ser procesados mediante pruebas no paramétricas para identificar la relación entre ambas variables Calidad de vida y estrategias de afrontamiento del paciente con cáncer de mama sometido a quimioterapia.
