Workload and its relationship with fatigue in the nursing staff of the intensive care unit of the hospital de EsSalud, Lima-2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between the workload and fatigue in the nursing staff of the intensive care unit at the Essalud hospital, Lima - 2023. Method and Design: The research used is a Hypothetical Deductive Method, with a quantitative and correlational approach; the type of research is applied and the research design is nonexperimental and cross-sectional. Population and Sampling: The Population has 85 Nursing Care Professionals who work in the Intensive Care Unit service, there was no sample since we worked with all the Nursing Care Professionals and the sampling is nonprobabilistic and non-random selection. Techniques and Instruments: The technique was a survey and the instrument was a questionnaire, its reliability was tested through Cronbach's alpha, since it is a polytomous instrument. Data analysis: The SPSS Statistics version 25.0 program was used, which gave statistical results of the applied instruments, then the data was transferred to the Microsoft Excel program for the preparation of graphs and tables and for the statistical analysis the test was used. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la carga y fatiga laboral en el personal de enfermería de la unidad de cuidados intensivos en el hospital de Essalud, Lima - 2023. Método y Diseño: La investigación empleada es de Método Hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo y correlacional; el tipo de investigación es aplicada y el diseño de la investigación es de no experimental y de corte transversal. Población y Muestreo: La Población cuenta con 85 Profesionales de enfermería asistenciales que laboran en el servicio de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, no hubo muestra puesto que se trabajó con todo el Profesional de enfermería asistencial y el muestreo es no probabilístico y de selección no aleatoria. Técnicas e Instrumentos: La técnica fue encuesta y el instrumento fue cuestionario fue probada su confiabilidad a través del alfa de Cronbach, por tratarse de un instrumento politómico. Análisis de datos: Se utilizó el programa SPSS Statistics versión 25.0 el cual dio resultados estadísticos de los instrumentos aplicados, luego se pasó los datos al programa de Microsoft Excel para la elaboración de los gráficos y las tablas ypara el análisis estadístico se empleó la prueba de CHI-CUADRADO
