Efficacy of Early Dual Antiplatelet Treatment in Stroke Patients

Abstract

Objectives: systematize evidence on the effectiveness of early treatment with dual antiplatelet therapy in patients with stroke. Methodology: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text and synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based medicine due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, we found that 70% (07) correspond to China, with 30% (03) we found Canada, USA, Korea. Most of the quasi-experimental studies have been studied, with 70 %, mainly in China. Conclusions: 80% affirm that dual antiplatelet treatment is effective in stroke. It was evident in the reviewed research that there is efficacy in the combination of acetylsalicylic acid and clopidogrel in the treatment of adult patients with stroke. It was shown to be effective in reducing risks and complications.

Objetivos: sistematizar evidencias sobre la eficacia del tratamiento temprano con antiplaquetario dual en pacientes con accidente cerebrovascular. Metodología: Revisión Sistemática observacional y retrospectivo, la búsqueda se ha restringido a artículos con texto completo y sintetiza los resultados de múltiples investigaciones primarias. Son parte esencial de la medicina basada en la evidencia por su rigurosa metodología, identificando los estudios relevantes. Resultados: En la selección definitiva se eligieron 10 artículos, encontramos que el 70% (07) corresponden a China, con un 30% (03) encontramos Canadá, USA, Korea, Han sido estudiados en su mayoría los estudios cuasiexperimentales, con un 70%, principalmente en China. Conclusiones: el 80% afirma que el tratamiento dual antiplaquetario son eficaces en el accidente cerebro vascular. Se evidenció en las investigaciones revisadas que existe eficacia en la combinación del ácido acetil salicílico y el clopidogrel en el tratamiento del paciente adulto con accidente cerebro vascular. Se mostró eficacia en cuanto a la disminución de riesgos y complicaciones.
