Social support and its relationship with treatment adherence in patients with tuberculosis in a health facility, Lima 2023

Abstract

This research aims to: determine the relationship between social support and adherence to treatment in patients with tuberculosis in a health facility, Lima 2023. The Methodology: hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive, applied, correlational, cross-sectional; The population will be made up of the 80 patients treated in the TB program, during the year 2023. To evaluate social support, the MOSS (Crombach's alpha reliability 0.85) and for the treatment adherence variable a Likert-type scale (Crombach's alpha reliability 0.91). acceptable. A survey will be used to collect data. Statistical analysis of the data: a descriptive analysis will be carried out using frequency and percentage tables, the inferential analysis will be through parametric (Pearson's Correlation) or non-parametric (Chi-square) statistical tests.

Objetivo: determinar la relación que existe entre el apoyo social y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con tuberculosis en un establecimiento de salud, Lima 2023. La Metodología: metodo hipotetico deductivo, diseño no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, aplicado, correlacional, transversal; La población estará conformada por los 80 pacientes atendidos en el programa de TBC, durante el año 2023. Para analizar el apoyo social se utilizará el cuestionario MOSS (confiabilidad alpha de Crombach 0,85) y para la variable adherencia al tratamiento una escala tipo Likert (confiabilidad alpha de Crombach 0,91). Se ejecutará una encuesta para recolectar data. Análisis estadístico de la data: se realizará un análisis descriptivo mediante tablas de frecuencia y porcentaje, el análisis inferencial será mediante pruebas estadísticas paramétricas (Correlación de Pearson) o no paramétricas (Chi-cuadrado)
