Work stress and organizational commitment in nurses who work in the emergency service in a regional hospital, Ica 2023

Abstract

Introduction: Work stress is a growing concern today, since it can have negative consequences on nurses. On the other hand, organizational commitment is a key factor for the performance and well-being of nurses. Objective: To analyze the relationship of work stress with organizational commitment in nurses from the Emergency Service at a Hospital Regionally in Ica 2023. Methods: a basic, quantitative, non-experimental, correlational, hypothetical-deductive scientific method study. The census sample will be made up 78 nurses from the emergency service of the Ica hospital Regionally. The survey will be used to apply the Likert scale questionnaires, which are validated and reliable to measure the variables under study. The collected data will be processed in Microsoft Excel and SPSS to develop descriptive and inferential statistics, to perform the hypothesis testing using Spearman's Rho test.

Introducción: El estrés laboral es una preocupación creciente en la actualidad, ya que puede tener consecuencias negativas en los enfermeros. Por otro lado, el compromiso organizacional es un factor clave para el rendimiento y el bienestar de los enfermeros. Objetivo: Analizar la relación del estrés laboral con el compromiso organizacional en los enfermeros del Servicio de Emergencia en un Hospital Regional de Ica 2023. Métodos: estudio de método científico hipotético-deductivo, de tipo aplicada, cuantitativo, no experimental, correlacional. La muestra censal estará formada por 78 enfermeros del servicio de emergencias del hospital Regional de Ica. Se utilizará la encuesta para aplicar los cuestionarios de escala Likert, los cuales están validados y son confiables para medir las variables en estudio. Los datos recolectados serán procesados en Microsoft Excel y SPSS para desarrollar la estadística descriptiva e inferencial, para realizar la contrastación de hipótesis utilizando la prueba Rho de Spearman.
