Knowledge on early stimulation and parental practices in children under one year of age in a health facility – Chaclacayo 2023

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about early stimulation and the practices of parents with children under one year of age in a health facility - Chaclacayo 2023. Methodology: use the hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, research applied, experimental design of correlational scope and cross section. The population will be made up of 70 parents of children under one year of age who go to the health facility on a monthly basis to receive care in the growth and development control program, the sample will be census using the total population; who at the beginning of the investigation signed the informed consent. For data collection, the knowledge questionnaire and the practices questionnaire will be used as instruments, validated by experts and applied by Soldeville, then they will be entered into the matrix of an Excel 2022 file and exported to the SPPS Statistics version 24.0 program, where the tables and graphs will be processed and analyzed. For the verification of hypotheses and the correlation of variables, the Spearman's Rho test and coefficient will be used, which will allow knowing the degree of association between two variables and determining the dependence or independence.

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre la estimulación temprana y las prácticas de padres con niños menores de un año de un establecimiento de salud - Chaclacayo 2023. Metodología: utilizara el método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, investigación aplicada, diseño experimental de alcance correlacional y corte transversal. La población estará conformada por 70 padres de niños menores de un año que acuden al establecimiento de salud de forma mensual para recibir atención en el programa de control de crecimiento y desarrollo, la muestra será censal utilizando el total de la población; quienes al inicio de la investigación firmaran el consentimiento informado. Para la recolección de datos se utilizará como instrumentos el cuestionario de conocimientos y el cuestionario de prácticas, validado por expertos y aplicado por Soldevilla, luego serán ingresados en la matriz de un archivo Excel 2022 y ser exportados al programa SPPS Statistics versión 25.0, donde se procesarán y analizarán las tablas y gráficos. Para la verificación de hipótesis y la correlación de variables se usará la prueba y coeficiente de Rho de Spearman, la que permitirá conocer el grado de asociación entre dos variables y determinar la dependencia o independencia
