Self-esteem and depression in women victims of marital violence attending the Carlos Protzel Health Center in Comas, 2021

Abstract

Introduction: According to the OMS, self-esteem is a very important aspect in the life of human beings and it is required that it be strengthened from the first stages of life, otherwise it can generate disorders such as depression, a problem that affects an average of 300 million people worldwide. Objective: Determine the relationship between self-esteem and depression in women victims of marital violence who attend the Carlos Protzel Health Center in Comas, 2021. Methodology: The hypothetical deductive method will be followed, quantitative approach, basic type, correlational descriptive scope. , non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The study population will be made up of 80 women attacked by their spouse who attend the Growth and Vaccines service of the C.S. Carlos Protzel de Comas. Bernardo's questionnaire (2017) will be applied as an instrument for the Self-esteem variable with its 5 dimensions: Self-respect, Self-acceptance, Self-evaluation, Self-concept and self-knowledge and through the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-2) depression will be evaluated with its 2 dimensions. : Cognitive affective factor and Somatic motivational factor. A matrix table will be designed to empty the data obtained and the information will be transferred by applying the statistical package SPSS vs. 26

Introducción: Según la OMS la autoestima es un gran aspecto de gran importancia en la vida del ser humano y es requerido que se fortalezca desde las primeras etapas de vida, pues sino se pueden generar trastornos como la depresión, problema que afecta a un promedio de 300 millones de personas nivel mundial. Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación entre la autoestima y depresión en mujeres víctimas de violencia conyugal que acuden al Centro de Salud Carlos Protzel de Comas, 2021. Metodología: Se seguirá el método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básica, de alcance descriptivo correlacional, diseño no experimental, transversal. La población de estudio estará conformada por 80 mujeres agredidas por su cónyuge que acudan al servicio de Crecimiento y Vacunas del C.S. Carlos Protzel de Comas. Se aplicará como instrumento el cuestionario de Bernardo (2017) para la variable Autoestima con sus 5 dimensiones: Autorrespeto, Autoaceptación, Autoevaluación, Autoconcepto y autoconocimiento y mediante el Inventario de depresión de Beck (BDI-2) se evaluará la depresión con sus 2 dimensión: Factor cognitivo afectivo y Factor Somático motivacional. Se diseñará una tabla matriz para vaciar los datos obtenidos y se trasladará la información aplicando el paquete estadístico SPSS vs. 26
