Level of knowledge of organ donation and attitude in relatives of patients hospitalized in the intensive care service of the Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza - 2022

Abstract

Organ and tissue donation in Latin America continues to be a health issue that needs to be addressed from a humanistic and educational point of view, which seeks to emphasize the altruistic act to maintain or improve the quality of life of another human being. The research work is of an applied type, since it seeks to relate both variables knowledge and attitude, of a non-experimental design. For the application of the study, the survey will be used as a technique, the instrument is the "Organ Donation Knowledge Questionnaire", the same one that was adapted in the research carried out by Huamani and Romero in 2015 and modified by Ochavano in 2021, it consists of The instrument in the first section has 13 questions with 4 alternatives each, this measures the knowledge variable, in the second part the attitude variable will be measured, it consists of 24 questions, it will evaluate the dimensions: Cognitive, affective and behavioral and to measure the relationship between both variables, Pearson's "r" relationship coefficient will be used.

La donación de órganos y tejidos en América Latina, sigue siendo un tema de salud que necesita ser abordado desde el punto de vista humanístico, educativo, en el que se busque enfatizar el acto altruista para mantener o mejorar la calidad de vida de otro ser humano, el trabajo de investigación es de tipo de tipo aplicada, pues se busca relacionar ambas variables conocimiento y actitud, de diseño no experimental. Para la aplicación del estudio se utilizará la encuesta como técnica, el instrumento es el “Cuestionario de conocimiento en donación de órganos” el mismo que fue adaptado en la investigación realizada por Huamani y Romero en el año 2015 y modificado por Ochavano en el 2021, consta de El instrumento en la primera sección posee 13 interrogantes con 4 alternativas cada una, esta mide la variable conocimiento, en la segunda parte se medirá la variable actitud consta de 24 interrogantes, evaluará las dimensiones: Cognitivo, afectivo y conductual y para medir la relación entre ambas variables se utilizará el coeficiente de relación “r” de Pearson.
