Quality of life in HIV patients at the Surquillo Health Center, Lima 2019

Abstract

objective: Identify the level of quality of life of patients with HIV according to dimensions in the Surquillo health center -Lima 2019. Material and methods: this study is quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional; The total study population was 40 patients over 18 – 70 years of age from the Surquillo health center of the Procets program. They met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a survey technique was used for data collection and the instrument had 36 items. Results: The result was that the quality of life of the patients, the highest percentage was low quality of life with 45%, followed by good quality of life with 32.5% and medium quality of life with 22.5%, the sociodemographic result according to the age group was low life decline, with respect to the dimensions that were altered It was social function, vitality, physical role, the highest percentage was low quality of life conclusions: Regarding the quality of life of patients with HIV at the Surquillo health center, low quality of life predominates.

objetivo: Identificar el nivel de la calidad de vida de los pacientes con VIH según dimensiones en el centro de salud Surquillo –Lima 2019. Material y métodos: este estudio es cuantitativo, no experimental descriptivo de corte transversal; la población total de estudio fue 40 pacientes de mayores de 18 – 70 años de edad del centro de salud Surquillo del programa de Procets. Ellos cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se utilizó técnica de encuesta para la recolección de datos y el instrumento fue de 36 Ítems Resultados: Se obtuvo como resultado que la calidad de vida de los pacientes el mayor porcentaje fue calidad de vida baja con 45%, seguido de ello calidad de vida buena con un 32.5% y calidad de vida mediana con 22.5%,el resultado sociodemográfico de acuerdo al grupo etario fue caída de vida baja, con respecto a las dimensiones que salieron alterados fue función social, vitalidad, rol físico, el mayor porcentaje fue calidad de vida baja conclusiones: Con respecto a la calidad de vida de los pacientes con VIH del centro de salud Surquillo predomina calidad de vida baja.
